Alpine Hiking


You haven't been to Whistler until you've been to the top of Whistler Mountain. An easy gondola ride provides spectacular views all the way to the top and access to alpine hiking trails. Blackcomb Mountain is right next door so you'll get the whole picture of the two back-to-back mountains and the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Summer Hiking Trails on Whistler Mountain

Whistler Mountain's wilderness offers a wonderful opportunity for hiking and walking. Learn about the ecology of diverse ecosystems from experienced naturalist guides and take in the incredible scenery. The established hiking trails are located on Whistler Mountain, however, sightseeing is available on Blackcomb Mountain until TBA, 2008. Access is via the Wizard and Solar Coaster Chairlifts, then a bus ride to the 7th Heaven Express.

Free Hiking Tours

Hiking at Whistler Blackcomb's is even better when experienced with a true Whistler local. Enjoy a complimentary guided tour while navigating Whistler Mountain's vast alpine environment.
Tours depart daily @ 11:30am from the top of the Whistler Village Gondola. Tours are a two-hour round trip with rest stops and photo opportunities.
