Deer Valley is the ultimate in designer ski resorts and still does not allow snowboarding. It prides itself on its customer service and manicured pistes, but it doesn't come cheap!
If you are in the mood to flash the cash, Deer Valley's luxurious lodges will help relieve you of your dollars, although some of the condos are more reasonable (in a relative sense).
That said, being close to Park City, Deer Valley is an ideal day trip and as it is covered by the Three Resort International Pass (except over Christmas and New Year), the resort can also be enjoyed by non-millionaires. Its corduroy cruisers are good for all abilities and there is some excellent tree skiing.

Deer Valley - Three Resort Pass
If pre-booking in the UK there is an opportunity to purchase a 'Three
Resort International Pass' allowing you the flexibility to experience
the three world-class ski areas of The Canyons, Deer Valley and
Park City on one ticket. All three areas are located within a few
minutes of each other and are linked by a free public transit system.
