Apex is largely undiscovered by British skiers, but is a fantastic ski holiday destination for anyone who likes the unique atmosphere of a smaller ski resort. Apex's slogan is 'Hot Terrain, Warm Village, Cool People', which sums it up pretty well.

The ski area is small but varied and surprisingly challenging, and there is an excellent beginner's ski area with its own lift set back from the main ski runs.

In addition to The Inn, the resort's hotel, there is an excellent bed and breakfast style lodge, The Saddleback Lodge. Apex's Gunbarrel Saloon is one of Canada's most famous ski-bars.

Apex Add-On - Apex is a great resort to stop at for a couple of days if you are on your way to or from Red Mountain, or to make a 10 day ski holiday after 7 nights in Big White or Silver Star.
