Situated in the dramatic Paznaun valley, Ischgl has masses of intermediate terrain and a reputation as a hedonistic party town. The unique village is an unconventional mix of exclusive hotels, pedestrian tunnels, quaint churches, lap-dancing bars and traditional chalets. The après ski is legendary in Ischgl – there are countless bars and open-til-dawn clubs – the Hotel Madlein has its own Pacha/Coyote Ugly nightclub.
The ski area is just one lift ride from the resort and, with a large skiing area of pisted runs and good off-piste opportunities, is an intermediate skier’s paradise. You can ski down to the duty free Swiss resort of Samnaun and pick up some tax free schnapps ready for a night of partying back in Ischgl
Ischgl does not have a train station so we recommend hiring a car or taking a private transfer to resort.
Holidays to Ischgl are 7 days only. The hotels do not take short break or weekend bookings.
