Introduction

Ski Safari understands and respects the importance of your privacy.  We recognize our responsibility to keep confidential at all times any information about you which we acquire  in connection with your online purchase of Ski Extras.

Collection of data

The only way we obtain personal information is if you give it to us when we specifically ask for it in the process of making your ski extras order.  If you opt into receiving our email e-newsletter, you are able to opt out of it at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button on the newsletter. You may also receive a brochure and other mailings by post. You can opt out of postal mailings at any time by sending an email to info@skisafari.com.

Use of data

Your personal details will not be passed to any third parties except where necessary to process your booking or enquiry. Your details may be passed to countries outside of the UK and the European Economic Area in order to process and arrange for the products and services you request. When you submit your ski extras order, you agree that we may use and transfer your personal information, including sensitive information, in this manner.

We will provide a summary of any personal information held upon request. This information will only be sent to the e-mail address on file for the subscriber name associated with it. To obtain an information summary please e-mail info@skisafari.com

Online  payments

We use Protx (www.protx.com) – a secure online payment gateway for credit card processing that has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). They adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process. Please see the ‘Security’ tab for further information.

Cookies

Ski Safari uses third parties to help analyse how you use the site. This analytical tool uses 'cookies', which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transmitted to the third party. This information is then used to evaluate your use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

 

The air holidays and flights shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 4488. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in United Kingdom. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. For futher information, visit the ATOL web site at www.atol.org.uk. For holidays that do not include flights, you are protected by Tour Operator Failure Cover Insurance.
