"TLH is the best place in Canada to sample real heli-skiing for the first time. A quality operation with a long history, the Lodge and food put the experience towards the luxury end of the range available."

"I was lucky enough to spend 4 days at TLH in Feb '08. The weather wasn't the best, but we had 3 amazing days. The pace was fast and on 2 days we managed good mornings of 7 or 8 shortish runs (probably about 500-700 vertical ft each)from mid-mountain as winds were high at the tops. There was good fresh snow and the last pitch through the trees to the valley floor was just awesome. I love tree-skiing and this was my best ever. The third day we had sunshine, fine weather and long runs from the mountaintops. Great to be out in real wilderness and to ski down huge glaciers in a series of rolling pitches - just superb. TLH were extremely professional in all areas, leading with the pilots and guides. The Lodge staff struck the right balance providing good service in a friendly fashion. Food was good and plentiful and the well-run bar provides a nice focal point at the end of the day. Rooms are on the basic side, but fine. All in all a fantastic experience. Do it!"
