Ski Safari began over a decade ago by introducing skiing in Canada to the UK market. In particular, we pioneered the concept of multi-resort self drive Ski Safaris which make the most of western Canada’s diverse resorts.

As demand for North America grew we expanded to include the key resorts in the US. Over time, as we got to know them, we added the smaller, harder to reach resorts to provide a comprehensive portfolio of resorts ‘across the pond’

Our North America holidays tend to be at least 10 nights long, often considerably longer. But there is still time to squeeze in a warm-up weekend closer to home as well. After careful research, we decided that resorts easily accessed from Zurich were ideal. Our programme of ‘shorter’ breaks to Switzerland began last winter and is supplemented this winter by a selection of Austrian resorts.

Like many skiers, we have always been tempted by some of the more exotic ski destinations in the world. Following unforgetable recce trips we began offering Chile a few years ago and this winter we are adding Japan.

And we will continue to develop our programme in response to the requests of our customers, seeking out the best of what is on offer, hoping to provide ski holidays that meet each of your individual requirements. As always, our selection is based on our own personal experience and we only sell resorts that we have been to and skied at and properties that we have seen.
